YOGA
Yoga means “union” in Sanskrit and fosters a union of mind, body and spirit. Yoga adds “Spirit” to the Turner motto “Sound Mind Sound Body”. At Turner Gym we promote physical activities that individuals can practice for life. Yoga brings these benefits to athletes: Increases awareness to the entire body; enhances recovery; restores balance; helps to reduce injury; improves biomechanics and energy conservation; increases breath capacity; and teaches focus.
