RICHARD COX is the assistant executive director for the Benedict Center (www.benedictcenter.org) and does extensive work in the Sentencing and Advocacy Program. He is an offender status consultant for the State of Wisconsin Department of Corrections, Division of Community Corrections. Mr. Cox is a member of the Fire and Police Commission. He is the former superintendent for the Wisconsin House of Correction and a former Milwaukee County deputy sheriff. He has a degree in criminal justice and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy.

CONNIE FLETCHER (http://www.luc.edu/communication/academics) is an associate professor with the Department of Communications, Loyola University Chicago. She has written extensively about policing, including, "What Cops Know", "Pure Cop", and "Breaking and Entering: Women Cops." Dr. Fletcher's writing has appeared in the Chicago Sun-Times, the Chicago Tribune, The Chicago Reader, Advertising Age, Newsweek, Chicago Magazine, and the New York Times Book Review.

MICHAEL SCOTT (http://www.law.wisc.edu) is the director of the Center for Problem-Oriented Policing, which is a non-profit organization of university researchers and academicians and police practitioners. He is an assistant clinical law professor at UW-Madison Law School. Mr. Scott has extensive experience in police work as former chief of police in Lauderhill, Florida; Madison City police officer; and as a civilian police administrator for Metropolitan St Louis and NY City.

STAN STOJKOVIC (http://www.uwm.edu) is dean and professor of the department of criminal justice, Helen Bader School of Social Welfare, UW-Milwaukee. He teaches public administration, philosophy, criminal justice, and criminology. His major research interest is in the area of correctional administration. Dr. Stojkovic has written two textbooks on criminal justice administration and a book on crime and justice in the future. In addition, he is coordinator of the California Leadership Institute for the California Department of Corrections.

CAROLINA GONZALEZ SCHLENKER is a physician and researcher in bio-psycho-social health care needs of the Wisconsin Latino community. Although her research concentrates on the Latino community, she is concerned with the health care needs of everyone. Dr. González holds a masters of public health and is an adjunct professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She founded the Latino Health Organization of Wisconsin.

BILL JENKINS is the principal of Jenkins and Associates, a healthcare consulting firm. His experience in health care has been extensive. Mr. Jenkins is the former president of Alternative Delivery and Community Programs for Aurora Health Care; former president and CEO of Aurora Sinai Medical Center; and the former CEO of the Milwaukee County Medical Complex.

JON RICHARDS is a Wisconsin State Representative (www.legis.state.wi.us). He was first elected in 1998 and represents the 19th Assembly District. Representative Richards is the assistant minority leader, a position he has held since 2003. For two and one-half years, he has worked on the Wisconsin Health Plan, a comprehensive, bi-partisan health care reform bill. He believes that every Wisconsin resident should be allowed to purchase health care the same way state legislators do.

DANIEL STEININGER is president of Steininger and Associates, a consulting firm that assists businesses and industries in assessing obstacles to growth and entrepreneurship. The cost of health care is one of the issues that he helps clients assess. Mr. Steininger was chairman and CEO of Catholic Knights Insurance and headed its mutual fund. Under his leadership the fund grew to 650 million dollars in assets.
