Create a Civic and Social Awareness Group
Some of our viewers have told us that they are using copies of 4th Street Forum to initiate discussion within their classrooms, their organizations or service agencies. We've learned that a few agencies use them as training tools or discussion facilitators. They either show the entire program or the first twenty minutes, until it is time for audience questions and group discussion.
Each DVD cover provides questions that are good for initiating discussion. For our more recent programs, we also include the opening question the moderator asks the panel of experts. Some organizations present the questions on the DVD cover first to allow their participants time to think about their answers and then return to the recording to find out what the experts have to say.
There are book groups, investment clubs, so why not form a civic and social awareness club? Create your own discussion group at home and let us know about your group by emailing us at 4thStreetForum@gmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
