Milwaukee Turners Climbing Gym
Milwaukee Turners Climbing gym is a community-based indoor rock climbing facility located in the basement of Historic Turner Hall. The gym features (20) 25-foot top ropes, a bouldering wall, traverse routes, locker rooms, equipment rental, and plenty of dedicated climbers.
Offering one of the most affordable forms of indoor exercise and entertainment in the Milwaukee area, we like to think of ourselves as one of Milwaukee’s best kept secrets—but it’s the kind of secret we’d like to share with you. Come on in and pass our belay test to climb on your own, or if you’re new to rock climbing, or just rusty, then you can purchase a “Learn-to-Climb” lesson. The affordable “Learn-to-Climb” includes a pass, harness, belay device and a climb/belay lesson from one of our experienced staff members. After the lesson, your instructor will then test your newly found knowledge to make sure you can safely climb and belay. Staff members are available throughout regular gym hours to answer questions, check equipment and help you work on technique.
Come to the rock climbing gym on your own to meet new people, or bring a partner to really solidify your friendship. Either way you need to take advantage of our great facility today. We look forward to climbing with you!
